Partial Solar Eclipse

A precise in-camera multiple-exposure sequence shot at 5-minute intervals on a single film frame, meticulously capturing the progression of the solar eclipse over Biatorbágy. Following each interval exposure, the film rewind button was engaged to recock the shutter without advancing the film. To hit the correct exposure without guessing, I used a digital camera body (set to ISO 100) right alongside the Minolta to meter the shots in real-time.

This complex sequence perfectly aligns the eclipse phases, culminating in a dramatic final unshielded capture as the sun touches the horizon. The exceptional clarity and tone of Fuji Neopan Acros II 100 render the sequence with stark contrast against the darkened sky.
