Western Veil Nebula

A single 1-hour tracked prime focus exposure capturing the striking Western Veil Nebula (NGC 6960), also known as the Witch's Broom Nebula. The fine detail and dynamic contrast of Fuji Neopan Acros II accentuate the delicate, glowing filaments of gas bisected by the bright star 52 Cygni. Shot in Tarjan, Hungary, using the SkyWatcher 150/750 Newtonian reflector paired with a Minolta XD 5.
