Orion Nebula

A complementary 30-minute tracked prime focus exposure providing another pristine view of the core Orion Nebula (M42) and De Mairan's Nebula (M43). The high contrast of Fuji Neopan Acros II highlights the delicate tendrils of nebulosity surrounding the central Trapezium stars, alongside the nearby stars of the Running Man Nebula (NGC 1977) complex. Shot in Lovasberény, Hungary, using the Meade 80/480 Triplet apochromatic refractor paired with a Minolta XD 5.
