Heart of the Swan

A 5-minute tracked exposure revealing the rich nebulae and dense star fields within the constellation Cygnus, shot under the dark skies of Zselic, Hungary. Near the center, the reddish emission glow of the Sadr Region (IC 1318) stands out alongside the prominent silhouette of the North America Nebula (NGC 7000) and intricate dark dust lanes bisecting the Cygnus Molecular Cloud. Captured wide open at f/2 on Fujifilm Superia 400 using a Minolta XD 5, the image brings out vibrant magenta tones and exceptional stellar density. Tracked with guided SkyWatcher AZ-GTI mount.
